Photography is an essential form of creative expression. Whether it's a snapshot of a bygone era, a glimpse into a new subculture, or an opportunity to keep a lost loved one close to us— photos have a way of telling stories like no other.

For the fourth issue of labaatan, we sought music, literature, life and culture photo essay submissions. They were open to both writers and photographers (of any experience level) interested in exploring other mediums.
